Day 1
Delhi - Manali (Overnight Journey)
• Meet your driver or board the evening Volvo/tempo traveller from Delhi (around 5-6 PM) for
the overnight journey to Manali, about 540 km.
• Route: Delhi - Panipat - Ambala - Chandigarh - Bilaspur - Mandi - Kullu - Manali, with dinner
and rest stops on the highway.
• On the way (early morning), you pass Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple and the scenic
Beas River gorge near Mandi, depending on timing.
• Optional if you have the day free before departure: Delhi sights such as India Gate,
Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort or Qutub Minar.

Day 2
Arrival at Manali - Local Sightseeing
• Arrive in Manali in the morning (around 8-10 AM), check in to your hotel and freshen up.
• Visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, a historic wooden temple built in the middle of a cedar
forest, and the nearby Van Vihar Park.
• Visit the Manu Temple in Old Manali, dedicated to the sage Manu, and walk through the
cafe lanes of Old Manali.
• Visit the Vashisht Temple and the natural hot sulphur springs.
• Visit the Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa (Tibetan Monastery) and the Himalayan
Nyingmapa Gompa.
• Evening stroll along Mall Road for shopping (Kullu shawls, woollens, handicrafts) and local
food.

Day 3
Manali - Solang Valley - Atal Tunnel - Sissu
• After breakfast, drive to Solang Valley, about 13 km, for adventure activities: paragliding,
zorbing, ropeway (gondola), ATV rides and, in winter, skiing (optional, extra cost).
• Drive through the Atal Tunnel (Rohtang Tunnel), about 9 km long and the world's longest
highway tunnel above 10,000 ft, to Sissu in the Lahaul Valley.
• Visit Sissu Waterfall, Sissu Lake and the snow-fringed Lahaul landscape.
• Optional (permit and weather permitting): Rohtang Pass, at about 13,050 ft. A permit is
required, and the pass has a weekly closure and closes in winter.
• Return to Manali in the evening for dinner and free time.

Day 4
Manali - Naggar - Kullu - Kasol
• After breakfast, depart for Kasol, about 80 km, with stops on the way.
• Visit Naggar Castle, a stone and wood heritage castle with views of the Kullu Valley, and the
Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery.
• Continue to Kullu to visit the Raghunath Temple, the main deity of the famous Kullu
Dussehra, and shop for Kullu shawls and caps.
• Optional: river rafting on the Beas near Kullu or Bhuntar.
• Drive along the Parvati Valley via Bhuntar and Jari to Kasol, check in and relax by the
Parvati River.
• Evening: stroll the cafe-lined streets of Kasol, with live music, Israeli cuisine and riverside
seating.

Day 5
Kasol - Manikaran - Chalal - Jibhi
• Morning visit to Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara, about 4 km from Kasol, famous for its natural
hot springs and community langar. Cover your head and remove shoes.
• Easy walk to Chalal village, about 2-3 km, through pine forests and across a suspension
bridge over the Parvati River.
• Optional (if you can start early): Tosh village, a Himalayan hamlet with mountain views,
about 20 km from Kasol.
• After lunch, drive to Jibhi, about 90-100 km / 3.5 hrs, via Bhuntar, Aut and Banjar, and check
in.
• Evening: relax in Jibhi's wood and stone cottages, stroll through the village lanes and enjoy
a bonfire dinner, weather permitting.

Day 6
Jibhi Local Sightseeing - Departure for Delhi
• Early morning drive to Jalori Pass, about 14 km, at about 3,100 m, for sweeping mountain
views, then the trek to the serene Serolsar Lake, about 5 km (optional, 2-3 hrs one way).
• Visit Shoja, a quiet forest village, and Chehni Kothi, an ancient wood and stone tower in
Kath-Kuni architecture near Banjar.
• Visit Jibhi Waterfall, a short walk from the village, and the lanes and orchards of Jibhi.
• Optional: Shringa Rishi Temple in Banjar, or Tirthan Valley and the entrance of Great
Himalayan National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
• In the evening (around 5-6 PM), depart for Delhi, about 520 km, for the overnight journey
back.
