Arrival at Jaipur - The Pink City
• Arrive at Jaipur International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel to check in
and freshen up.
• Visit the City Palace complex, home to the Chandra Mahal, museums and courtyards still
used by the royal family.
• Explore the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar observatory and make a photo stop at Hawa
Mahal (Palace of Winds).
• In the evening, shop at Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar for jewellery, blue pottery, textiles
and block prints.
• Dinner and a folk-culture evening at Chokhi Dhani ethnic village, with puppet shows, folk
dance and Rajasthani thali (optional).

Jaipur Local Sightseeing - Forts and Safari
• Morning visit to Amber Fort (Amer), with a jeep ride up to the fort, Sheesh Mahal,
Diwan-i-Aam and the Ganesh Pol.
• Photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace), then see Panna Meena Ka Kund stepwell and
Jaigarh Fort.
• Afternoon: Albert Hall Museum, Birla Mandir and the Galtaji (Monkey) Temple.
• Sunset at Nahargarh Fort, with panoramic views over the Pink City.
• Experience: Jhalana Leopard Safari, in the morning or evening slot, a rare chance to spot
leopards near a city (optional, extra cost).

Day 3
Jaipur - Bhangarh - Pushkar
• Start early (around 6:30 AM) for Bhangarh, about 85 km / 2 hrs from Jaipur, so you arrive
when the site opens.
• Explore Bhangarh Fort, India's famously 'haunted' ruins: Gopinath temple, Someshwar
temple, the old market street and the royal palace remains. Entry is allowed only between
sunrise and sunset.
• Drive on to Pushkar, about 245 km / 4.5-5 hrs, with a lunch stop on the way.
• Evening: stroll the Pushkar Lake ghats, attend the Sandhya Aarti, and visit the Brahma
Temple, one of the very few in India.
• Experience: sunset camel safari on the sand dunes near Pushkar (optional).
• Browse Pushkar Bazaar for silver jewellery, mirror-work textiles and leather juttis.

Day 4
Pushkar - Chittorgarh - Udaipur - City of Lakes
• Early morning at Pushkar Lake for sunrise on the ghats, followed by the Rangji Temple.
Optional ropeway to Savitri Mata Temple for panoramic views.
• After breakfast, drive towards Udaipur, about 300 km / 5.5-6 hrs in total.
• En route, stop at Chittorgarh Fort, Rajasthan's largest fort and a UNESCO World Heritage
Site, with Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower), Rana Kumbha Palace and Padmini Palace.
• Arrive in Udaipur, check in and spend the evening by Lake Pichola and Gangaur Ghat.
• Optional: Dharohar folk dance show at Bagore Ki Haveli (around 7 PM) if time permits.

• Afternoon: boat ride on Lake Pichola with a stop at Jag Mandir, with views of the Lake
Palace (optional).
• Visit Fateh Sagar Lake and Maharana Pratap Memorial (Moti Magri).
• Sunset at Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) overlooking the city and lakes.
• Browse Hathi Pol and Bada Bazaar for miniature paintings, puppets and handicrafts.

Day 6
Udaipur - Kumbhalgarh - Ranakpur - Jodhpur
• Depart early (around 8 AM) for Kumbhalgarh Fort, about 85 km / 2 hrs, a UNESCO site
whose wall stretches over 36 km, the second longest in the world after the Great Wall of
China.
• Continue to the Ranakpur Jain Temple, about 50 km further, famed for its 1,444 intricately
carved marble pillars (open to non-Jains in the afternoon, roughly 12 PM to 5 PM).
• Drive on to Jodhpur, about 165 km / 3.5 hrs, the Blue City. Total driving for the day is about
300 km.
• Evening: check in and, if time allows, stroll the Clock Tower and Sardar Market.
• Try local flavours: Mirchi Bada, Pyaaz Kachori and Makhaniya Lassi.

Day 7
Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Sam Sand Dunes
• Morning visit to Mehrangarh Fort, one of India's largest and best-preserved forts, with its
museum, palaces and audio tour, and the white-marble Jaswant Thada.
• Optional (shorter alternative): Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum or a Bishnoi Village jeep
safari if you prefer a rural experience, in place of the fort.
• Depart by about 11:30 AM for Jaisalmer, the Golden City, about 285 km / 5 hrs, with lunch
on the way.
• Evening: transfer to the Sam Sand Dunes, about 40 km from Jaisalmer, and check in to a
desert camp.
• Experience: camel safari and jeep dune drive over the Thar Desert, as time permits.
• Enjoy an evening Rajasthani folk music and dance programme (Kalbelia), a bonfire and
dinner under the stars.

Jaisalmer Sightseeing - Departure via Jodhpur
• Optional: sunrise camel ride over the dunes, then breakfast at the camp.
• Visit Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Qila), a living fort with shops, temples and homes inside its
golden sandstone walls.
• Explore Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli, with their intricate carved facades.
• Optional: Gadisar Lake, or the abandoned village of Kuldhara if time permits.
• After lunch, drive back to Jodhpur, about 285 km / 5 hrs, for your onward journey from
Jodhpur Airport or Railway Station. Jaisalmer has limited flights, so a train or a Jodhpur
flight is the usual choice.
